Customer sends QPCR to its vendor when customer find any deviation from specification mentioned in the product supplied by the vendor. QPCR contains detailed qualitative report format which needs to be filled up by both the sides. (Customer & Supplier).
Why is QPCR required?
When a customer finds any deviation from the required specification supplied by supplier then customer sends a communication to the vendor in form of QPCR related to issue faced by customer.
Let us understand with an example. Suppose ABC is a manufacturing company of plastic tiffin boxes and one of its vendor XYZ sends plastic casting product to ABC company. One day at customer end (ABC) it was found that there was shrinkage issue in the product supplied by the vendor.

After receiving the QPCR, Vendor needs to reply with a proper and systematic way in line with QPCR format and resolve the issue of customer.
